Job summary

A community-focused organization in Ontario seeks a Finance Supervisor to oversee financial systems and staff management. Qualifications

  • Master's degree or CAFM designation required.
  • Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in an Indigenous setting.
  • Preference for candidates of Anishinaabe ancestry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Finance Team Meetings and address team concerns.
  • Ensure annual performance appraisals for staff as required.
  • Identify training needs and consult with HR accordingly.
  • Provide training on financial systems to finance clerks.
  • Update budget and general ledger monthly for financial controls.
  • Complete WSIB forms with HR.
  • Promote Anishinaabe culture and well-being among families.
