Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario! We are looking for experienced Shift Leaders to lead and coordinate production teams across both day and afternoon shifts. In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during your assigned shift
• Monitor production output to ensure quality standards and daily targets are met
• Adjust workflow and reassign tasks as needed to maintain productivity and minimize downtime
• Train and mentor team members, promoting skills development and performance improvement
• Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, ensuring full compliance with standards
• Address and resolve operational issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors and management to improve processes and team effectiveness
• Maintain accurate shift records, reports, and production documentation
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Enforce and uphold company policies and procedures
• Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the #1ANDRITZway core values and behaviors and promote a positive work environment

What We're Looking For

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate others
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production setting
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices
• Prior supervisory or lead-hand experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Willingness to work either day or afternoon shift
