A power utility company based in Hay River, NT is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will manage electrical design and project services for power generation systems with responsibilities including design preparation, tender evaluations, and construction supervision. Applicants need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, registration with NAPEG, and a proven track record in utility settings. Salary ranges from $66.22 to $80.48 per hour plus benefits and relocation assistance.
This position is located in Hay River, NT (on-site, NOT remote)
To provide electrical design, engineering, and project management services from the conceptual stage through to commissioning for capital projects and operational support involving the Corporation's generating stations and transmission and distribution systems. The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks with minimal supervision:
This is a bargaining unit position. Salary for this position ranges from $66.22/hour - $80.48/hour plus location allowance of approximately $3,823 per annum. This position is located in Hay River, NT, and does require the successful candidate to reside/relocate here. Relocation assistance may be provided.
