1. Ability to perform day to day database administration tasks with deep understanding of SQL Server internals e.g. Indexing, partitioning , filestream , Always-On , replication cctv and Mirroring technologies.
2. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
3. Expert in T-SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Data Transform Services (DTS).
4. Expert in Log shipping with SQL Server 2012 / 2008 R2.
5. Expert in setting up Snapshot and Transactional Replication
6. Experience in Power shell Scripting, Partitioning
7. Experience in designing databases, creating tables, views, stored procedures and Triggers.
8. Worked on disaster recovery plans and Developed backup and recovery strategies for production environment
10. Knowledge of relational databases, T-SQL, query execution plans, solving concurrency issues and deadlocks
11. Troubleshoot and provide advice on SQL Server performance issues and be able to work with application development teams and provide recommendations.
12. Strong Knowledge of administrating Azure-SQL databases.
13. Good communication skill and experience to handle P1 / P2 outages.
14. MSSQL DBA Certification will be added advantage.
15. Knowledge on the Use of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Automation & Integration with PowerShell and Azure CLI will be an added advantage
