Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Mining Team. This role involves overseeing design concepts, applying risk management practices, and executing complex electrical designs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, EIT or Registered P.Eng. status and 5-10 years of experience in the mining industry. The position is based in Brampton, with the opportunity to work in other locations such as Sudbury or Thunder Bay.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in the mining or industrial industry.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within budgeted hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of design concepts by Designers.
• Responsible for applying EXP’s risk management practices of electrical engineering.
• Perform front-end loading of Electrical systems for projects.
