BIOL 2020: Cell Biology – Winter 2026

In consultation with the class coordinator, the sessional laboratory instructor will be responsible for the development and teaching of the laboratory component of the course for up to six lab sessions; coordinate class TA’s and technicians; and general administration (handling student issues, supervising TA’s, submitting grades, invigilating exam and tests, etc.). Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in‑person on campus. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

The applicants will have an advanced degree in biology and previous, recent laboratory teaching experience in the related discipline. Applications should include a cover letter, up‑to‑date C.V., and first‑time applicants to the Department of Biology must provide the names of two references.

Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
