DaVita is looking for a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help educate our patients and their families at our Dover Dialysis in Dover, OH and Apple Valley Dialysis in Mt. Vernon, OH.

Requirements
  • Travel between Dover Dialysis in Dover, OH and Apple Valley Dialysis in Mt. Vernon, OH
  • Full Time Schedule – Monday – Friday, 36 – 40 hours
  • 1 year of Licensed Clinical Dietitian experience
  • Must be a licensed Dietitian in the state you are applying
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
  • Successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required after hire and training
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and DaVita specific applications within 60 days
Responsibilities
  • Review monthly lab work with patients and educate them on dietary and medication changes to improve outcomes.
  • Complete nutrition assessments for patients and attend patient rounds with nephrologist.
  • On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays—In-Center Dialysis patients—provide education.
  • On Tuesdays and Thursdays—charting, protocol dose adjustments for nutrition related medications.
  • Participate in core team meetings and home patient clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
