Full-time position:

Job Description

• Responsible for the receiving, shipping, delivering, and inspection of aircraft parts.
• Ensure that all receiving and shipping records comply with the company Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM).
• Prepare and pack crates/skids/boxes for freight shipments.
• Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation as required including BOLs, Commercial invoices, and packing slips.
• Control quarantine stores as per company's policy.
• Properly issue and retrieve tools to and from aircraft mechanics to support production.
• Review tool calibration reports and tool calibration dates.
• Maintain inventory including shelf life and counts.
• Perform physical cycle count and year-end count of materials held in inventory and record surplus materials and equipment.
• Maintain departmental WHMIS program requirements.
• Ability to prioritize workload requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or training in a field related to the position (aerospace industry).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively; additionally, must be able to meet physical demands of an environment where you will be walking, climbing, and bending repetitively.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet regular deadlines, and effective time management is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours/week

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred).
