Job Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our manufacturing environment. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various clerical tasks while ensuring the smooth functioning of the warehouse and assembly processes.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Accept refining lots from internal and external sources, verify customer instructions, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Weigh, photograph, and label lots using precision equipment including scales, cameras, and computers.
  • Route materials to appropriate departments and prepare samples for assay testing.
  • Record melt room data including weights, losses, slag, and sample details.
  • Prepare materials for external disposal in compliance with environmental standards.
  • Use tools such as drill presses and X‑ray machines with confidence and care.
  • Follow all PPE, health, safety, and environmental protocols while keeping your workspace organized.
  • Regularly handle metal bars weighing up to 20kg (approx. 50lbs).
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma.
  • Comfortable operating production machinery and using tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Able to lift heavy materials regularly.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
