Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Data Risk Manager, Intermediate, for one of our key clients.

Candidate MUST have the following:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Risk Management, Information/Data Science, Data Management, or Computer Science and/or Engineering. Masters degree is a plus but not required;
2. Protected-B Clearance ready, obtained from the RCMP;
3. Expert knowledge of data management, data governance, data breaches, and data and AI risk principles;
4. SME and point of contact for all data risk management and related work efforts;
5. Expert in creating a data risk methodology and applying a data risk program to the company;
6. Experience in compliance, risk, and audit programs, including regulatory audits;
7. Able to create frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, templates;
8. Expertise in creating risk appetite statements, risk limits and thresholds, impact assessments, or risk tolerance;
9. Expertise in risk monitoring and reporting, including escalations to senior management when needed;
10. Ability to conduct audits or independent review of compliance with data governance standards, liaising with auditors or regulators as necessary;
11. Self-starter, creative, and adaptable to changing priorities;
12. Familiarity with regulatory requirements from OSFI, Privacy, Canadian Federal regulations, Health Dental, and Investment regulations;
13. Experience in Cyber Security, Privacy, NIST Compliance, PCI DSS, SOX Compliance, ISO 27001/2;
14. Experience or certification in enterprise risk, data maturity models, AI/ML methodologies, and related fields.
