Job Summary

The Personal Support Worker is part of the home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, providing various personal care services to meet clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance/reminders
• Ambulation and transportation of clients
• Providing companionship
• Following care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to travel within the service area
