We are currently hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for full-time or part-time positions in Newmarket and Maple, to work in vibrant health center environments serving diverse populations.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 / hour
Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
TB Test required
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
Current certification in NVCI and GPA considered strong assets.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt in dynamic environments.
Knowledge of medication administration is an asset.
Willingness to stay updated with evolving healthcare standards and practices.
Demonstrated reliability with a positive work record and good attendance.
Bilingualism (English/French or other languages) is considered an asset.
Follow Health Center protocols, policies, and procedures.
Implement individualized care plans under supervision of an RN or RPN.
Assist with daily living tasks, hygiene, ambulation, and meal services.
Observe and report changes in client condition to healthcare staff.
Participate in infection control, safety procedures, and quality assurance.
Support residents physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Complete regular documentation and maintain confidentiality.
Provide companionship and promote dignity in care delivery.
Participate in training, orientation, and ongoing development activities.
Assist with emergency response and first aid when required.
Support in moving clients in/out of care as needed.
Contribute to a respectful and cooperative workplace culture.
