• Shape the future of security at RBC by designing, developing, and maintaining secure, innovative solutions that streamline processes, boost efficiency, and unlock new possibilities.
• Lead the development of cutting-edge tools that enhance decision-making, automate tasks, and drive positive change across the organization.
• Mentor and coach senior technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, secure development, and collaboration within a dynamic team environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including diagrams and walkthroughs, to support feedback, design, development, and debugging activities.

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on Python, REST APIs, and Containers
• Proven track record of at least 1+ year as a senior engineer, with a strong emphasis on mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity
• 2+ years of experience in deploying and managing systems in production environments
• In-depth understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks such as Langchain, and expertise in integrating AI models into applications
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems into actionable components
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice-to-have

• Working experience on large enterprise architecture designs/architecture models/solutions
