• Oversee design process from feasibility through completion and liaise directly with clients on major projects
• Perform detailed electrical design work and review the work of junior designers
• Direct CAD team for drawing preparation and review deliverables before submission to the client
• Prepare written reports based on building electrical assessments and audits
• Prepare written tender documents and technical specifications. Evaluate products and contractor proposals to make award recommendations to the owner
• Work with management to develop business strategies related to new clients and potential growth areas in electrical engineering
• Assist with proposal preparation and contacting new clients to grow business

• CAD experience is required
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2004/2008/2010
• Knowledge of lighting software and basic engineering is preferred
• Experience with roadway & highways lighting projects is a strong asset
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• P.Eng. registration in Canada
• Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering consulting
