Responsibilities
  • Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews design work within a small-size PD&P design work group on medium-size projects or assignments supporting global business units.
  • Produces drawings and documentation per established design and scope, including earthwork, drainage, road design, foundation, and steel detailing.
  • Ensures PD&P systems designs comply with installation codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinates with PD&P engineers, scientists, specialists, designers and drafters on daily technical work.
  • Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upper management.
  • Facilitates technical discussions with clients, suppliers and regulators.
  • Prepares or oversees PD&P design estimates and work plans based on project scope, schedule and budget.
  • Develops Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), client design guides, Standard Computer Applications (BSAPs) and administrative practices.
  • Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approvals on phases of work.
  • Reviews key PD&P engineering drawings, calculations and bid summaries.
  • Mentors PD&P designers and drafters through on-the-job training.
  • Validates and processes requests.
  • Supports implementation and ongoing requirements of the Child Care Accountability Program.
  • Validates and assesses client information as per policy for Affordability and Child Care Subsidy Grants.
  • Verifies information through cross‑match systems or manually with relevant departments.
  • Communicates required documentation verbally or in writing.
  • Monitors and follows up on changes in client circumstances.
  • Maintains information in the Family Portal to generate payments for Affordability and Child Care Subsidy Grants.
  • Stays updated on policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes suspected fraud cases.
  • Reviews documentation to determine overpayments or referrals to Debt Collections or Fraud Department.
  • Compiles supporting data for action and testifies in court if required.
  • Monitors payment of funds.
  • Reviews reports for items such as age transitions and school starts for children.
  • Conducts payment adjustments.
  • Documents interactions and maintains accurate records.
  • Ensures confidential data compliance with FOIP Act.
  • Provides exceptional support and guidance to child care providers, parents, and guardians.
  • Collaborates with team members to improve service quality and efficiency.

Technical Knowledge
  • Use of PC including MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams for complex automated systems.
  • Aptitude in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to use multimeter.
  • Knowledge of sensor technology.
  • Basic plumbing (fluid and pneumatic).
  • Power transmission (gear boxes, motors, belt and chain drives).
  • Electrical troubleshooting from low-level signals up to 480 VAC.
Preferred Experience
  • Troubleshooting Industrial Control Systems (instrumentation, ladder logic, relay logic, VFD, servo).
  • Knowledge of PLC operations, robotics and vision systems.
  • Mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • SAP maintenance module or equivalent system.
  • Basic skills in mill, lathe, welding and bearing press.
Qualification and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years relevant experience.
  • 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
