A welfare organization in California is looking for a Clinician II to provide intensive mental health treatment services to clients and their families. The role involves serving as the primary clinician for clients, offering individual and family counseling, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Eligible candidates must have valid registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and preferably prior mental health service experience. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $72,000 to $88,711.20 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Clinician II focuses on the provision of intensive mental health treatment services to referred and assigned clients and their families. These individuals are experiencing behavioral and/or mental health issues in the school, home and community settings and currently live in out-of-home care. The clinician provides direct services, serves as a clinical advocate for clients (and their families) and makes recommendations for mental health support services needed, while actively working collaboratively with resource parents, family supports and county social workers.
