YOUR ROLE

NEUF is seeking a Senior Accounting Technician to join its accounting team. Working directly with the Director of Finance and Administration, you will be involved in daily financial operations, month-end processes, and support the implementation of our new ERP system, Deltek Vantagepoint. Prior experience with this ERP is essential.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Perform project-based accounting in a multi-company environment (60%)
  • Collect and prepare invoices, validate, and assign to projects
  • Manage accounts payable, prepare invoices, and process payments
  • Assist with payroll processing for 250 employees in QC and ON (30%)
  • Validate timesheets diligently
  • Reconcile credit card expenses
  • Contribute to implementing and improving internal control procedures
  • Provide daily support to the accounting team
YOUR SKILLS
  • DEP or DEC in accounting
  • 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Project accounting expertise
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables, etc.)
ASSETS
  • Accreditation from the National Payroll Institute
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system
