Copenhagen Merchants has been growing in Brazil since opening our São Paulo office in – today home to four brokers, an execution specialist, and an analyst.

And we want to take the next step within Soy / SBM, strengthening our global origination–destination network stretching from South America to the Black Sea, EU, MENA, and Asia.

This is a role for someone who can walk in and start creating traction from day one – commercially, relationally, and structurally.

You already know what real brokerage looks like – but here's how it plays out with us :

• Drive Soy / SBM brokerage across Brazil, South America, and global demand regions
• Close deals and create value through timing, insight, and relationships
• Connect daily with charterers, traders, crushers, and distributors – both local and global
• Share updates, pricing, and intel that feed directly into our unique market intelligence platform CM Navigator
• Work hand-in-hand with local execution and the broader CM freight desks
• Spot opportunities between origins, flows, and arbitrage – and act fast
• Be part of a team that aims high but stays collaborative and human
• This is senior-level brokerage : desk ownership, accountability, and impact.

You're an experienced broker or trader with deep roots in Soy / SBM – ideally across both origination and export flows.

Not theoretical knowledge.

Real relationships, real deal-history, real intuition.

We imagine you bring :

• Strong experience in Soy / SBM brokerage or trading
• A live network of counterparties across the Brazilian and Argentinian market – and beyond
• The ability to operate independently while staying connected to a team
• Solid commercial instincts + the discipline to follow through
• Fluency in English; Portuguese required; Spanish a plus
• A personality that fits our culture : curious, direct, collaborative, human
