Job summary
A leading healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer specializing in clinical trials and pharmaceutical data environments. In this remote position, the successful candidate will design and maintain data pipelines, integrate data from various systems, and support analytics in regulated environments. With a strong emphasis on clinical trial experience and cloud skills, this role is pivotal to the ongoing and upcoming projects in the company.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Mandatory experience in pharma and clinical trials.
- Hands-on with systems such as CTMS, EDC, and eTMF.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data pipelines for clinical trial data.
- Integrate data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems.
- Support analytics and reporting in regulated environments.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, biostatistics, and IT teams.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in clinical trials and pharmaceutical data environments to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
This is a domain‑specific role — strong cloud skills are required, but clinical trial experience is mandatory.
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines for clinical trial data
- Integrating data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems
- Supporting analytics and reporting in regulated (GxP) environments
- Collaborating with clinical operations, biostatistics, and IT teams
- âś… 5+ years as a Data Engineer
- âś… Experience in pharma / clinical trials (this is a must)
- ✅ Hands‑on with CTMS, EDC, eTMF
- âś… Strong AWS experience (Glue, Airflow, Athena, EMR)
- âś… Databricks / Spark , SQL, Python
- âś… Familiarity with CDISC / SDTM and regulated data standards
