As the VM & Store Design Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the layout and design of our retail spaces and visual merchandising to enhance customer experience and drive sales. You will be responsible for defining and managing the visual merchandising and store design strategy in line with regional objectives, Maison HQ guidelines, and the defined budget to maximize brand expression and visibility, and support in maintaining the brand image across the Middle East / GCC / Turkey / India / Africa / Israel / CIS region.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing the regional Trade Marketing strategy and annual calendar.
- Managing boutique and shop-in-shop placement, buildings, and their maintenance.
- Developing animation designs for activities in the boutiques (opening events, activations, animations).
- Maintaining brand guidelines and image across all points of sale (POS).
- Leading VM implementation in all shop-in-shops and boutiques.
- Controlling and optimizing the Capex Budget and A&P spending.
- Managing and building strong relationships with agencies and partners, updating contracts, and following up on payments and execution of works.
- Preparing presentations on a regular basis for specific projects, executive management, or business plans.
- Collaborating with Maison HQ, merchandising, and marketing teams to develop effective store layouts.
- Analyzing sales and traffic data to make data-driven decisions about product placement and store flow.
- Optimizing space allocation to maximize sales per square foot.
- Working with cross-functional teams to implement planograms and fixture plans.
- Conducting regular store visits to assess layout effectiveness and gather feedback.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors on store design projects.
- Participating in the development of store planning standards and guidelines.
- Providing support and guidance to store teams regarding visual merchandising and layout implementation.
Experience and qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in Visual Merchandising.
- Outstanding project, team, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- An operational, hands-on mentality.
- An exact, insistent, and dainty way of working with a strong eye for detail.
- A highly agile and flexible mindset and personality.
- Business proficiency in English.
- A hands-on personality that easily communicates in an international environment.
- A strong understanding of retail design principles and spatial planning.
- A creative approach to store layouts.
