Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Planner role.
  • Experience in a Retail environment is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a Beauty and Skincare retail environment is required.
  • Experience in Distribution and Wholesale is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate demand forecasts for wholesale partners by analyzing sales trends.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance by account and identify risks.
  • Coordinate with Logistics for on-time delivery and fulfillment of wholesale orders.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly sales and stock reports.
  • Support planning and execution of end-of-season stock clearance.
  • Work closely with Finance to validate margins and assess promotions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships for effective sharing of information.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale partners to understand trends.

Distribution Planner | MAF LifeStyle | Planning and Merchandising

The Distribution Planner will be responsible for analyzing multi-dimensional plans, including sales performance, gross margin, and inventory, across wholesale partners and regional markets. The role collaborates closely with the Buying, Commercial and retail partners to maximize profitability through effective planning, forecasting, and trading of assortments. It is responsible for managing deliveries, allocations, and replenishment in line with agreed wholesale plans.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Ensure accurate demand forecasts for wholesale partners by analyzing sales trends, order patterns, and market performance.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance by account, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize sell-through and minimize excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and accurate fulfilment of wholesale orders.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly sales, stock, and intake (WSSI) reports specific to wholesale accounts.
  • Support planning and execution of end-of-season stock clearance, ensuring alignment with margin targets and partner commitments.
  • Work closely with Finance to validate margins and assess the impact of discounts, markdowns, and promotions on trade profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong inter and intra departmental relationships for open and effective sharing of information and follow up actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners to understand sales trends, demand drivers, and product preferences.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate degree in a related field preferably business or finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Planner role.
  • Experience in a Retail environment is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a Beauty and Skincare retail environment is required.
  • Experience in Distribution and Wholesale is mandatory.
