The role involves the design, development and maintenance of software applications across multiple platforms. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience in software development, with strong technical knowledge and an eye for detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new features and maintaining existing systems, as well as troubleshooting and debugging existing code. They will also be required to document their progress throughout the development process. A keen interest in new technologies is essential, as the role requires the individual to keep up with current trends and industry standards.
The ideal candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. They should also possess strong communication skills and the ability to write clear documentation. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript or other web technologies, as well as experience with SQL databases or other relational databases. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is also preferred but not essential.
