Job Overview: The Revenue to join our Finance team in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. This role will focus on auditing large volumes of transactions, including credit card reconciliations, aggregator transactions, revenue analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of discounts, voids, and complimentary items. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Micros and ERP systems and be able to manage complex financial data, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Revenue Auditing & Reconciliation
  • Review, audit, and reconcile all daily revenue streams, including food, beverages, events, and other services.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all revenue transactions, including payments made via credit cards, cash, and third-party aggregators.
  • Perform detailed credit card reconciliations, ensuring that processor records match POS and ERP systems.
  • Reconcile aggregator transactions (third-party delivery platforms, online booking aggregators) with internal revenue records.
  • Ensure all discounts, voids, and complimentary items are properly authorized and recorded.
  • Investigate any discrepancies in revenue, including adjustments due to discounts, voids, or complimentary offerings.
• Discounts, Voids, and Complimentary Items
  • Verify that discounts, voids, and complimentary items are correctly processed and authorized in accordance with company policies.
  • Analyze trends in discounts and voids to ensure they are being applied appropriately and not misused.
  • Reconcile complimentary items, ensuring they are valid and approved per operational guidelines.
  • Report any unusual patterns or high instances of discounts/voids to management for further review and action.
• Revenue Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue audit reports, highlighting any discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze revenue data to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in operational practices, focusing on areas like discounts, voids, and complimentary offerings.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on revenue analysis to optimize financial performance and minimize losses.
• System Management & Reconciliation
  • Utilize Micros POS and ERP systems to track, audit, and reconcile revenue-related data.
  • Ensure all sales and revenue transactions, including adjustments for discounts, voids, and complimentary items, are accurately captured and reflected in the system.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and resolve any issues related to revenue recording and reconciliation.
• Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Maintain and enforce internal financial controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding cash handling, credit card transactions, and revenue reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring that all relevant financial records are available and accurate.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with F&B, operations, and accounting teams to ensure proper recording of revenue transactions, including adjustments for discounts, voids, and complimentary items.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies related to revenue, payment methods, or adjustments promptly and professionally.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on proper revenue reporting and processing procedures.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, Internal Auditor) are a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Revenue Auditor, Income Auditor, or similar role in the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience handling large volumes of transactions, credit card reconciliations, and aggregator reconciliations.
  • Experience in managing and reconciling discounts, voids, and complimentary items, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Proficiency with Micros POS and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP).
  • Strong background in revenue analysis, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting.
