Responsibilities

• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting systems, procedures, and standards; maintain internal control systems.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information; document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substitute for accounting personnel during absences.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting with at least 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting software programs is a plus.
