We are looking for an experienced FortiGate Engineer to join our Network Security team in Dubai. This role is critical for ensuring the security, stability, and performance of enterprise networks through expert deployment and management of Fortinet solutions.
As a FortiGate Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Fortinet’s security suite, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer. You will work on advanced security configurations, monitor network traffic, and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting‑edge security technologies, collaborate with skilled IT professionals, and play a key role in safeguarding enterprise systems against evolving cyber threats.
- Deploy, configure, and manage FortiGate firewalls and related Fortinet security solutions.
- Implement and maintain security policies, interfaces, and advanced firewall features.
- Manage FortiAuthenticator and Forti NAC for secure authentication and access control.
- Monitor and analyze security logs using FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security incidents promptly.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Fortinet NSE certification preferred (NSE 4/5/6/7).
- Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
- Strong understanding of firewall technologies, network security, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with FortiClient is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis.
- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
- Experience with network segmentation and zero‑trust security models.
- Exposure to cloud security integration with Fortinet solutions.
- Scripting skills for automation (Python, Ansible).
