Assistant Engineer - the role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and maintain them in an effective manner. Responsible in assisting the engineers for troubleshooting and resolving problems and ensures safe engineering practices inside production suites and on shop floor. Responsible to adopt and apply effective new techniques, support Julphar maintenance operations, and safely operating equipment. Responsible to provide maintenance services as per scheduled, perform proper checklists of current machines and equipment. Analyze current process and programs, perform required calculations on same, handle all electrical requirements for equipment and recommend improvements.

• Accountable to adhere with the cGMP principles and maintain them in an effective manner.
• Responsible in assisting the engineers for troubleshooting and resolving problems and ensures safe engineering practices inside production suites and on shop floor.
• Manage for tools, lubricants, and testing equipment required during planned and breakdown activities for systems at site.
• Responsible for keeping all tools and spares in working condition and keep update of tools and spare parts in stores.
• Assist the engineers in preparing documents, updating job requests register, preventive maintenance records, planners, and technical documents.
• Keep tracks of electrical load utilization, periodic panel inspection, predict load requirements.
• Ensure Electrical safety and implementation of PPE devices for device and personal safety.
• Responsible to provide general maintenance (breakdown, preventive maintenance, inspections) in all machines, provide support to all equipment and perform calculations and implement various plans for.
• Responsible to provide general operation checklist of current machines and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to perform regular audit and ensure compliance to all corporate regulations and assist to design an efficient system and adhere to all requirements.
• Analyze current process and programs, perform required calculations on same, handle all electrical requirements for equipment and recommend improvements.
• Issue daily reports about the specific maintenance as per the SOPs and current practices.
• Accountable for building maintenance System – BMS for controlling & monitoring purposes.
• Maintain and provide repair on all equipment, troubleshoot on all equipment and provide repairs on the same.
• Monitor all metal duct components and install all HVAC systems and monitor all provide resolutions for all emergency alarm in systems and perform repair to all ventilating and air conditioning units.
• Support all data center applications, operate various centrifugal chillers, install, maintain dehumidification systems and contribute all maintenance activities for various technicians.
• Collect and analyze data, perform periodic maintenance, complete all log books and perform change processes and resolve issues.
• Preform any other work assigned and support and assist colleagues whenever necessary.

• Should be having good learners mind to understand and grasp new learnings.
• Must be able to manage tasks, plan personal workload effectively, priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to work under pressure & meet attendance standards. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to accomplish the required tasks to meet deadlines.

• Certificate/ Diploma in HVAC/Air Conditioning
• At least 2-4 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Company is desirable.
• Functional knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, understand the operation process
• Good in Microsoft Office and computer science.
• Good Command in English (communicating, writing and speaking) & Arabic is a plus.
• Knowledge of process and equipment, systems, control panels & troubleshooting capabilities.
