Sales Lead - Value Added Products

Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Lead to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies and sell-out plans for our product lines, which include but are not limited to, Citrus Peel, Citrus Powder, and powder from other waste.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the food industry, particularly in both local and export markets, to identify potential clients, nurture relationships, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-To-Market Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the product lines, including Citrus Peel, Citrus Powder, and other powder.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities, both locally and in export markets, by researching industry trends and potential clients. - Sales Plan and Sell-Out Execution:
- Create detailed sales plans aimed at achieving growth and profitability targets for each product segment.
- Develop and implement effective sell-out strategies to penetrate both the local and export markets.
- Create actionable sales targets, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to achieve overall sales targets set. - Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify, prospect, and approach potential clients, such as food manufacturers, distributors, and food service companies, who would benefit from our citrus-based products and fruit solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Deliver high-quality sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, ensuring they understand the unique value proposition of our products. - Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Analyze market conditions to identify opportunities and gaps in the marketplace, ensuring that our products remain competitive.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market. - Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales performance against targets, and report regularly on sales results, market conditions, and client feedback.
- Work with the internal team to forecast sales and adjust plans to meet business objectives. - Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with product development and finance teams to ensure alignment with the company's goals.
- Provide valuable insights to the product development team based on client feedback and market demands.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery of products to clients. - Customer Support and After-Sales Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service, handling inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to resolve any post-sale issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales within the food industry, particularly in areas related to fruit-based products, citrus products, or fruit puree/fillings.
- Strong understanding of local and export markets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales marketing, food science, or a related field (preferred).
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, particularly in the areas of by-products from waste.
- Ability to adapt to different customer needs, both locally and internationally.
