– Coordinate with clients and/or contractors to explain design requirements, processes, fee structures, document needs, drawing requirements, and design presentations.
– Explain design criteria in accordance with authority requirements and regulations.
– Organize and manage client meetings to provide advice and present designs.
– Ensure drawings comply with authority standards, regulations, and design space utilization in line with health and safety requirements.
– Ensure drawings are approved by the authorized developer/management.
– Review retail fit-out drawings to ensure alignment with licensed activities.
– Coordinate with approval authorities and submit all required documents as per their guidelines.
– Conduct site inspections to verify the retail space, base-built services, and availability of other technical services.
– Resolve any issues directly with clients and contractors.
– Ensure all documents and drawings are properly organized before submission to regulatory authorities for final review and approval.
– Ensure the legal document verification process is completed through the appropriate regulatory authority.
– Ensure all project-related documents are properly saved in the relevant folders and consistently maintained.
– Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
– At least 3-6 years’ experience in Architectural, Interior Design and Project Coordination.
– Ability to create accurate and detailed 2D technical drawings for submission to various authorities (e.g. DCD, DM) in compliance with their regulations and standards.
– Ability to create 3D models based on client specifications, incorporating design requirements and preferences.
– Skills in realistic rendering techniques to produce high-quality visual representations of 3D models.
– Strong ability to create, organize, and manage project-related documents using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to ensure clear communication and proper documentation.
– Possession of a valid UAE driving license for site visits and meetings, as required for the role.
