A leading aerospace company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Mechanical Technician to participate in all phases of satellite assembly. You will assemble subsystems, perform inspections, and ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of experience in precision mechanical assembly, proficiency in using tools, and a technical diploma. As we continue to design build and operate innovative satellites we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to join our this role youll take part in all phases of satellite assembly - from precisely building subsystems and validating ground support equipment to performing inspections troubleshooting and ensuring everything meets the highest quality standards.
Youll collaborate closely with engineers and technicians contribute to process improvements and play a critical role in keeping our assembly work efficient accurate and reliable. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in execution enjoys cross-functional teamwork and brings a mindset of continuous improvement to every project.
Orbitworks mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space. Building on Loft Orbitals heritage Orbitworks will be the first commercial firm in the United Arab Emirates to mass-manufacture satellites. Orbitworks aims to manufacture tens of satellites annually and operates out of a 50000-square-foot facility in Abu Dhabi.
