We are seeking a Payroll Accountant who will be responsible for calculation and reconciliation of employee benefits for our client based in Dubai- one of the largest semi-governmental organization.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance in relevant laws and regulations in payroll processing.
• Validate employee personal information such as bank details and salary informations to minimize errors in payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits enrolments, changes, and terminations.
• Managing interim payment disbursements including EOS (weekly), bonus and incentives (bi-monthly, monthly or annually as applicable), and claims like medical reimbursements, advances and children education.
• Maintain and update payroll database including payroll calendar, new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Provide support in calculations and clearance certificates regarding end of service benefits, monthly payroll and interim payroll, pensions, overpayment recovery, bonuses, medical reimbursements and salary on hold.
• Assists the finance team in preparing calculation of cost distribution and cost reports.
• Collate and report all relevant data for internal and external audit of payroll, as required
• Provide administrative support for various HR functions, including record-keeping, data entry, and document management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related communications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business administration or any related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in UAE.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion System is preferred.
• Advanced in Excel is a must.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa and insurance procedures.
• Attention to details.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
