Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team on a fulltime 1year contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications codes and regulations. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about construction and has a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and regulations
• Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities highlighting any potential issues or delays
• Review and approve construction plans drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve any constructionrelated issues
• Keep accurate records of all construction activities including daily reports inspection reports and photographs
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that materials and workmanship meet project standards
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress and any issues that may arise
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other project documentation
• Stay updated on industry standards codes and regulations to ensure compliance in construction activities
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Mentor and train junior inspectors as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction codes standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report potential issues
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
