Job summary
A leading MEP contractor is looking for a QA/QC MEP Electrical Engineer in Dubai. This role involves conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and documenting electrical installations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-6 years of QA/QC experience in UAE high-rise projects. A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC MEP Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, documenting, and verifying Electrical installations and electrical works, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and authority approvals.
- Perform QA/QC inspections forlighting, power distribution, switchgear, panels, earthing, and LV systems.
- Ensure full compliance with DEWA standards, project drawings, BOQs, and material specs.
- Generate and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality records.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams for snag closure and final handover.
- Witness and document testing & commissioning of electrical systems (IR testing, insulation resistance, continuity, etc.).
- Participate in authority inspections (DCD, DM, DEWA) and ensure compliance.
- Track all QA/QC documentation and assist in preparing handover files and O&M manuals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- 5–6 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within UAE high-rise projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD) and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and reporting for electrical systems.
- Track record of completing at least 2 full-cycle electrical projects.
- Solid understanding of NOC processes, power approvals, and DEWA coordination.
- Must be currently based in the UAE with a stable employment background.
- Ability to join immediately and provide salary documentation or SOA before final round.
