A leading UAE‑based company is expanding its technical team and seeking an experienced Software Tester / QA Engineer to join remotely. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about quality assurance and eager to contribute to delivering high‑performing software solutions.
As a Software Tester / QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and validation. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to identify defects, improve processes, and maintain high standards of performance in a remote work environment.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for software applications
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure product quality
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve code quality
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practicesProvide clear and detailed reports on testing outcomes and recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Testing/QA roles
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to cloud‑based environments and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of API testing and performance testing techniques
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
