Job summary

A leading manufacturing group in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the complete purchasing cycle. The ideal candidate should have over 15 years of procurement experience within manufacturing industries, especially in chemical products. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management. This role requires excellent negotiation and leadership skills. Candidates from Eastern Europe or South Africa are preferred.

Job Brief

Seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the complete purchasing cycle for a leading manufacturing group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within manufacturing industries, particularly involving chemical products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage, organize, and control all procurement activities.
  • Develop purchasing procedures and prepare instructions accordingly.
  • Analyze market trends and delivery conditions for material forecasting and procurement planning.
  • Establish vendor evaluation systems focusing on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
  • Design, manage, and monitor procurement reporting systems to align with company standards.
  • Source and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality products and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, change notices, and review purchase claims for policy compliance.
  • Draft and review vendor contracts, proposals, bids, and ensure all legal and pricing terms are met.
  • Lead procurement activities from initial purchase intent to final delivery of goods.
  • Assign procurement tasks and supervise the negotiation of complex supply agreements.
  • Improve office procedures and systems to enhance procurement operations.
Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
  • Additional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain are preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing industry (Chemical/Industrial goods).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM module is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills are highly desired.
