Job Description

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the lead manufacturing plant
• Manage production, quality, safety, and compliance
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet export targets
• Lead a team of engineers, operators, and workers
• Implement best practices in smelting, refining & EHS compliance
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, and compliance teams
• Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans that align with corporate goals, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and practices, such as automation and lean manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including environmental standards, to maintain a sustainable operation.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on manufacturing performance to executive leadership, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the manufacturing sector.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions to enhance team performance and operational output.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing leadership role, showcasing a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
• Should be capable of building or bringing in a ready team
• Strong leadership, documentation, and crisis management skills
• If the candidate has an existing team, that will be preferred
