Job summary
A government agency in Dubai is looking for a candidate to prepare an integrated action plan to boost agriculture, livestock, and fish production. The role includes monitoring food security indices, studying risks related to global challenges, and implementing awareness programs. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in fields like food safety or public health. Responsibilities
- Prepare an integrated action plan to boost local agricultural, livestock and fish production.
- Monitor the Global Food Security Index.
- Study risks associated with global challenges on food security.
- Implement awareness and education programmes for society.
- Supervise relevant institutions in agricultural and livestock production.
- Prepare a platform for monitoring food security operations.
- Coordinate to support local producers in food processing.
- Assist institutions in marketing agricultural products.
Education
Prepare an integrated action plan to boost local agricultural, livestock and fish production in the emirate, study the risks associated with the impact of global challenges on the food security system, monitor the global food security index and identify programmes that will enable the UAE to rank among the best countries in terms of food security.

- Supervise institutions working in the field of agricultural, livestock and fisheries production in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
- Prepare a platform that includes comprehensive data to monitor operations affecting food security and strategic food stocks.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities in the emirate to support and motivate local producers in the fields of food processing, agricultural, livestock and fisheries production.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities to assist agricultural, livestock and fisheries production institutions in marketing their products.
Bachelor’s degree (3 years of experience)
