Position Summary: The UAT Telecom Tester will be responsible for validating new telecom products, services, and systems to ensure they meet business and user expectations before launch. This role is crucial for safeguarding quality, usability, and performance across key telecom platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct UAT across telecom products, services, and platforms to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
• Perform end-to-end service validation for BSS, OSS, portals, and mobile/web applications.
• Collaborate with product management, development, engineering, and customer support teams.
• Document test cases, scenarios, and results using test management and defect tracking tools.
• Identify, report, and follow up on defects until closure.
• Validate telecom services such as Order Management, Provisioning, and Billing for both Mobile and Fixed domains.
• Ensure test readiness and support production launch activities.
• Work under tight deadlines while managing multiple parallel tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Telecom Testing.
• Experience with Fixed, Cloud, SaaS-based telecom platforms.
• Strong exposure to BSS/OSS testing, portals, and mobile app validation.
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of Telecom Mobile & Fixed Services (Order Management, Provisioning, Billing, etc.).
