Role Purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the efficient and secure storage, distribution, and inventory management of all company assets and materials. This role plays a strategic part in optimizing warehouse operations, reducing costs, improving service levels, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Asset Management
Oversee stock accuracy and traceability
• Monitor and audit stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy
• Implement cycle count schedules and full physical inventory checks
• Supervise inbound and outbound inventory movement, ensuring documentation compliance
Warehouse Operations & Efficiency
Optimize daily warehouse workflows and resource allocation
• Coordinate daily tasks for warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and dispatching
• Ensure warehouse layout supports maximum space utilization and safety
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and operational discipline in the warehouse
HSE Compliance & Risk Mitigation
Ensure warehouse safety and regulatory adherence
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols in warehouse operations
• Conduct periodic training and drills on emergency procedures and equipment handling
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe practices, implementing corrective actions
Vendor & Transport Coordination
Manage third-party logistics and dispatch alignment
• Liaise with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
• Monitor service levels of logistics partners and raise performance concerns when needed
• Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments
Team Supervision & Workforce Development
Supervise and mentor warehouse staff
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training with HR
• Maintain a motivated and collaborative team environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics supervision (3 5 years)
Strong understanding of inventory control systems (ERP/WMS experience preferred)
Knowledge of HSE practices and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
Strong organizational and documentation skills
