Job Description

As an Accountant at KILONEWTONS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, and supporting our financial reporting processes. Your expertise will contribute directly to our company's financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections

Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for all accounts

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Budgeting Support: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

VAT Compliance: Ensure proper VAT recording and filing

Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audit processes

Payroll Assistance: Collaborate with HR for accurate payroll processing

Financial Analysis: Provide insights on financial performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in UAE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred)

Thorough knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Strong understanding of IFRS

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems

Audit background

Arabic language skills
