Job summary

A leading HR solutions provider in Dubai is seeking a MidLevel Accountant for a temporary role focused on financial reporting and compliance. This full-time position entails responsibilities such as managing daily sales posting, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and closing monthly books. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of accounting software. This role is set for a contract duration of 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Post daily sales & cash collection and reconcile with total revenue.
  • Prepare sales invoices for policy compliance.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process petty cash and supplier payments.
  • Close monthly books ensuring all invoices and revenue are recorded.
  • Reconcile bank accounts.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Job Overview

Role Title: MidLevel Accountant

Contract Duration: 3 Months (extendable)

Role Type: Outsourced Full Time OnSite Temporary

Location: TECOM Dubai UAE

Working Days & Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Posting of daily sales & cash collection, reconciling total cash collection with revenue and ensuring the cash is deposited properly on time and the deposited amount matches with the report
  • Preparing sales invoice as and when required to ensure policy compliance based on the documents received from Sales/Operations Department
  • Reconciling AP and AR against payment made and received
  • Processing petty cash replenishment, supplier municipality utilities and staff related payments
  • Monthly closing of books by ensuring all liabilities provision invoices revenue are recorded and reconciled
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Submission of monthly report (MMR) and quarterly balance sheet
  • Submission of monthly sales report to landlord
  • Other ad hoc job assigned by line manager
