Job summary
A leading industrial company in the UAE is seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into valuable insights. This role involves collecting and validating data, creating ETL/ELT processes, and designing Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, with strong SQL skills. We’re looking for a Data Analyst to turn operational and business data into meaningful insights. You’ll improve data quality, build reports and dashboards, and help teams make better decisions. The role spans data ingestion, modelling, analytics, and user enablement across multiple departments.
- Collect, clean, validate and transform data from multiple operational and production sources.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data refresh cycles.
- Monitor and improve data quality, accuracy, integrity and consistency across systems.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata and integration documentation.
- Design and deliver Power BI dashboards, KPIs and automated reports.
- Perform trend analysis and root‑cause investigations to support planning and performance.
- Optimise data models and calculations for accuracy, performance and clarity.
- Support users with dashboard adoption, KPI interpretation and data‑related queries.
- Coordinate requirements, milestones and delivery with stakeholders and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting and BI development.
- Strong SQL/MySQL skills, data modelling and transformation experience.
- Hands‑on experience with pipelines, dataflows and automated ingestion.
- Familiarity with API integrations, ERP/CRM sources and flat‑file ingestion.
- Experience in data cleansing, governance, quality checks and metadata management.
- Clear communication, stakeholder management and the ability to train and support users.
- Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals or Azure Enterprise Data Analyst certification.
- Experience with Dataverse, connectors and API‑based integrations.
You’ll shape the data foundations that drive decision‑making across a unique industrial operation, improving reliability, visibility and performance while coaching teams to use data confidently.
