Piping QC Inspector: Commissioning Specialist
Job summary
A leading industrial asset integrity firm in Sharjah is seeking an experienced QC Piping Inspector. The role involves inspecting and verifying piping systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards during the installation and commissioning phases in Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of QC piping inspection experience, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and strong knowledge of welding processes and testing procedures. Qualifications
- 5+ years of QC piping inspection experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, isometrics, welding processes, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with ASME, API, and ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify P&IDs isometrics and test packages against installed piping systems.
- Inspect pipe routing, size, material grade, and overall installation accuracy.
- Check compliance of pipe supports and hangers with approved drawings.
- Verify installation of valves, fittings, gaskets, and related components.
- Ensure all inspection records and documentation are completed accurately.
