We are urgently seeking a technically skilled IT Administrator/IT Executive / IT Admin Assistant to support and maintain our school’s IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling day-to-day IT operations in an educational environment.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, computer peripherals, IT hardware, and software applications.
Provide daily IT support, troubleshooting hardware (e.g., projectors, printers), software, and network issues reported via Service Desk.
Administer Office 365 tools including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, and Azure Active Directory.
Manage Active Directory (users, groups, computers), GPOs, and maintain Windows Server environments.
Monitor system performance, apply patches, install antivirus, and ensure IT infrastructure security.
Maintain and support network devices: routers, UniFi access points, switches, LAN/WAN connectivity.
Configure FortiGate firewall: policies, content filtering, VPN (IPSec/SSL), internet usage monitoring.
Maintain technical documentation and internal knowledgebase as per IT policies.
Support and train staff on educational technology platforms, software usage, and peripherals.
Manage school website (WordPress), update content, and ensure usability and performance.
Conduct system training, user onboarding, and documentation briefings.
2–4 years of experience in an IT Executive/Assistant role.
Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with help desk systems and user support.
Working knowledge of security systems: CCTV, Access Control.
Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, MCITP, or equivalent (required).
Experience with FortiGate firewall and network configurations.
Basic knowledge of ITIL framework (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in school IT support is highly desirable.
