Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Seat guests efficiently to optimize service flow.
- Manage reservations and monitor table occupancy.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables.
Skills
As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment in the establishment.
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
- Seat guests in the dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth flow of the service.
- Monitor table occupancy and keep track of reservations to optimize seating capacity.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the waiting list.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as needed.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials and promotions.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the entrance area and dining room.
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented and able to provide exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
