Job Purpose
To handle the purchasing of nuclear and non-nuclear related materials and equipment from initiation to post-award administration for Nawah requirements, ensuring safety, compliance, timeliness, and efficiency to support the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

Procurement
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Prepare, plan, schedule, and process the purchase of spare parts, tools, materials, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure safe and reliable NPP operation.
- Support nuclear supplier qualification and update the qualified supplier list.
- Understand specifications and scope of work/Material Masters, ensuring all QA, Health and Safety, Engineering, and end-user requirements are included.
- Review technical specifications for purchasing materials and equipment.
- Assist end users in creating Purchase Requisitions (PR), and help select correct parameters in the system.
- Assist in developing Scope of Work/Material Masters by sending RFIs to gather information.
- Arrange supplier meetings and site visits as needed.
- Review PRs and analyze material consumption for potential strategic contracts.
- Coordinate with Nuclear Specification Engineering and QA for safety, quality, and non-conformance issues.
- Assess quotes for policy and budget compliance.
- Review bids and quotes, evaluate proposals, and analyze grounds for rejection.
- Assist vendors with bid exceptions, deviations, and clarifications, involving necessary changes in the material master.
- Resolve supply issues with relevant departments such as QA, Specification Engineering, Inventory, Warehouse, and Logistics.
- Prepare commercial evaluations.
- Ensure vendor terms and conditions are agreed upon, with no open clauses.
- Negotiate and clarify terms with vendors as requested.
- Prepare award recommendations with justified support, adhering to Delegation of Authority (DOA).

Professional Certifications & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- Procurement experience in the energy sector.
- Power plant experience.
