Senior Live Events Rigging Technician
Job summary
An event production company based in Dubai is seeking a qualified rigging technician to assist in delivering high-quality rigging solutions. The role involves preparing and maintaining rigging equipment for live events and ensuring safety compliance. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a positive attitude while working under pressure. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with automated rigging systems is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
- IPAF NRC qualified or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of rigging principles and safety factors.
- Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, verify, and return rigging equipment.
- Assist in specific show preparation of equipment orders.
- Interpret plans to identify necessary rigging equipment.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
