Role Overview

The Azure Technical Architect is responsible for delivering and implementing Azure solutions for clients. The role involves designing Azure solutions on IaaS and PaaS, presenting these solutions to clients, managing end-to-end delivery, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Background in on-premises infrastructure virtualization technologies or applications.
• Proven experience with Azure IaaS, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with Azure Backup & Recovery Services.
• Knowledge of Azure Governance, including Blueprints, policies, tagging, and cost management.
• Experience with Azure SQL Databases, including Managed Instances, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Proven experience with Azure Security, including Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure AD, and AIP.
• Experience with Azure Serverless and integration services like Batch, Function, Logic Apps, EventGrid.
• Experience with Azure Containers such as AKS, ACI, ACR.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, including Azure AD, Azure AD DS, and on-premises AD DS.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell.
• Minimum 6 years in cloud or infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural designs based on customer requirements.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to showcase cloud adoption capabilities.
• Present designs and solutions to clients.
• Ensure architectural governance during Azure solution delivery.
• Drive innovation through code development and automated deployments.
• Contribute to proposals and RFIs with sales teams.
• Assist in team recruitment.
• Serve as a Technical Lead within your domain.
• Build strong client relationships and provide technical leadership using Microsoft technologies.
• Manage architecture preparation and project delivery.
• Promote innovation and collaboration within teams and with clients.
• Provide technical training and knowledge sharing.
• Deliver Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including cloud and on-premises, and application migrations to serverless technologies.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ensure high-quality, professional documentation and adherence to standards.
• Work flexibly to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
