David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Light Technician for their offices in Ras Al Khaimah.
Position: Light Technician
Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAE
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the setup and operation of technical equipment in continuous or live production environments ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate monitor and maintain equipment; support troubleshooting and escalate issues to senior team members when needed.
- Provide updates to supervisors on daily operations equipment condition and any technical concerns.
- Follow safety standards and industry best practices ensuring all operations meet compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with other technical teams to integrate systems and achieve seamless production workflows.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate logs of equipment use and stay informed on relevant industry trends and emerging technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
- Prior experience in technical operations within studio production or live event environments. Familiarity with equipment and control systems relevant to the role.
- Ability to read and follow technical plans or instructions. Understanding of safety standards and operational best practices.
- Capable of assisting with troubleshooting under pressure in fast-paced live environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attention to detail organizational skills and availability to work varied shifts including occasional nights and weekends.
- Familiarity with software tools or systems relevant to technical operations.
- Technical certification or formal training in a related field (e.g. audiovisuals electrical electronics or production technology).
