David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Light Technician for their offices in Ras Al Khaimah.

Position: Light Technician

Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAE

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the setup and operation of technical equipment in continuous or live production environments ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Operate monitor and maintain equipment; support troubleshooting and escalate issues to senior team members when needed.
  • Provide updates to supervisors on daily operations equipment condition and any technical concerns.
  • Follow safety standards and industry best practices ensuring all operations meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams to integrate systems and achieve seamless production workflows.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate logs of equipment use and stay informed on relevant industry trends and emerging technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • Prior experience in technical operations within studio production or live event environments. Familiarity with equipment and control systems relevant to the role.
  • Ability to read and follow technical plans or instructions. Understanding of safety standards and operational best practices.
  • Capable of assisting with troubleshooting under pressure in fast-paced live environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Attention to detail organizational skills and availability to work varied shifts including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Familiarity with software tools or systems relevant to technical operations.
  • Technical certification or formal training in a related field (e.g. audiovisuals electrical electronics or production technology).
