• Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled International Welding Technician (IWT) to support our welding operations by ensuring quality and compliance with international standards. The IWT will assist in welding procedure development, monitor welding processes, and ensure optimal techniques are applied across projects. This position is ideal for an experienced welding professional who thrives on technical challenges and has a strong commitment to quality and precision.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation, testing, and implementation of welding procedures to meet project specifications and international standards.
  • Assist welders in interpreting welding documentation and applying best practices across diverse projects.
  • Monitor and inspect welding activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes such as ASME IX, EN 1090-2, and EN 15085-2.
  • Work closely with engineers and welding supervisors to address technical issues, identify areas for improvement, and ensure efficient, safe welding practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of welding procedures, test results, and quality assurance documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
Requirements:
  • Certification as an International Welding Technician (IWT).
  • Demonstrated experience in welding inspection, testing, and procedure development.
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and quality assurance processes, particularly in structural and pressure applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications accurately.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 3834 and ISO 9001.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment, with a background in steel structures, pressure vessels, or other high-specification welded components.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and documenting inspection data.
